Frequently Asked Questions
What is Stillwater Youth Football & Cheer Association?
SYFCA is a non-profit organization that provides Stillwater area youth with the opportunity to experience tackle football and cheerleading in a competitive and safe atmosphere. SYFCA is a member of the Indian Nations Football Conference (INFC). We exist to make football enjoyable, and to prepare young men to be experienced and coached in proper fundamentals when they reach 7th grade and enter the Stillwater Public Schools Football Program.
What is the INFC?
The INFC is a youth football tackle football conference made up of 34 member clubs (like SYFCA) from primarily the Tulsa and OKC metro areas. These clubs serve as development organizations for players entering most of the 6A and many 5A & 4A football programs in these areas. Most of Stillwater High School's opponents have member clubs, such as Edmond, Piedmont, Moore, Norman, Choctaw, Jenks, Tulsa Union, Bixby, Bartlesville, Sand Springs, etc.
INFC sets rules and guidelines to ensure player safety fair competition.
How much does it cost?

All INFC regular season games are played on Saturdays. Home games are played at Stillwater High School's Pioneer Stadium, using the Visitor's (east) side. Away games will be played on site at other INFC member sites, generally in the OKC and Tulsa metro areas.
When and where are practices?
Each team/coaches set their own practice schedule. Most teams practice 3 times per week, and all practice locations are all at Hamilton Field at Couch Park. Practice times and locations are subject to change based on weather conditions and field/space availability. Your coach will communicate exact times and locations.
Practices for the Fall 2024 Season begin on July 29.
Please see our Calendar for all Season dates.
Who runs the organization?
SYFCA is led by a volunteer Board of Directors from the Stillwater community. SYFCA is not affiliated with Stillwater Public Schools. However, we work in cooperation with the Stillwater Schools Athletic Department and Football Program in our mission to build championship caliber teams at all levels of participation.
